It's the Teens Alone Youth Advisory Board! Teens Alone (TA) is a free and confidential counseling service for Eden Prairie, Hopkins, St. Louis Park, and Wayzata middle, junior, and senior high school students (and their parents). We also serve students and families at Mainstreet School of the Performing Arts. YAB was formed as a way to for teens to tell other teens about this service.

The primary responsibilities of the YAB are to:

• organize an annual Battle of the Bands, which is a competition of bands from each of the high schools Teens Alone serves
• make sure TA posters and cards are in schools and area businesses
• find opportunities for counselor speaking engagements (e.g. school flex times, church groups, etc.)
• use school newspapers, announcements, and other local media to help "get the TA word out"
• be creative!
